DELIVERY OPERATIONS OF SATAKUNNAN KANSA SOLD TO AAMUJAKELU OY
Satakunnan Kirjateollisuus Oy has divested its delivery business to
Aamujakelu Oy. The agreement on the transaction was signed today and
the deal will be closed on 1 January 2010.
The delivery operations of Satakunnan Kirjateollisuus Oy are
responsible for the early morning delivery of the Satakunnan Kansa
newspaper and several other newspapers in the Satakunta region.
Approximately 50,000 copies are delivered daily. The employees of the
Satakunnan Kansa delivery operations will continue working at
Aamujakelu Oy with their current status and benefits. The transaction
impacts on six officials and approximately 230 newspaper deliverers.
There will be no changes in the delivery of Satakunnan Kansa or the
other papers. The quality and extent of the delivery will remain at
the current level.
Aamujakelu Oy is a delivery company owned by Alma Media and operating
at Pirkanmaa and Sea-Lapland regions in Finland. Satakunnan
