PÖYRY PLC Press release 4 June 2009 at 3.15 p.m. PÖYRY TO PERFORM SITE SUPERVISION OF RAILWAY STATION RENOVATION IN AUSTRIA Pöyry has been awarded a service contract by Österreichische Bundesbahnen AG, Austrian Federal Railways, for site supervision during the renovation of the Salzburg main railway station. The value of the project is EUR 4.4 million. The scope of the work comprises the reconstruction of existing tracks and the construction of a new passage providing central access to the platforms. In addition, the existing service counter area in the reception hall will be rebuilt and access provided to local rail connections. Finally, three new railway bridges will be constructed, and supporting walls and noise protection installed. The project will begin in September 2009 and be completed by May 2015.
