Ad hoc: Funkwerk AG: Funkwerk increases sales and earnings forecast for 2007
After an in-depth analysis of its current business trend and in light
of the acquisitions completed over the past few weeks, the Executive
Board of Funkwerk AG (ISIN: DE0005753149) has now raised its sales
and earnings targets for 2007. Consequently, the earnings in the
current financial year are expected for the first time to reach a
record of 300 million Euro (previous projection: 255 mill. Euro). The
operating result before interest and taxes (EBIT) has been revised to
around 15 mill. Euro (previously: approx. 13 mill. Euro).
According to the final figures disclosed in its annual report, the
group's sales and earnings do not differ significantly from the
preliminary figures for fiscal 2006 published in February. At 241.8
mill. Euro, the revenues virtually matched the prior-year result of
242.0 mill. Euro, a good third (83.1 mill. Euro, 2005: 64.0 mill.
Euro) of which was generated in international business. Due to the
strong year-end business, the operating result (EBIT) finished at
10.1 mill. Euro (2005: 17.1 mill. Euro), including 8.5 mill. Euro
earned in the last quarter. The consolidated annual net profit thus
stood at 6.9 mill. Euro (2005: 11.6 mill. Euro), with earnings per
share of 0.86 Euro (2005: 1.45 Euro).
According to the final figures of the annual report presented today
at the press and analyst conference on financial statements, the cash
flow of Funkwerk totalled around -3 mill. Euro in 2006 and thus
proves better than expected in February.
