+++ First-time consolidated financial statements pursuant to IFRS
Hamburg, April 18, 2007: Today, nextevolution AG (ISIN: DE 000 A0J
C0A 2) published their annual report for 2006 and for the first time,
they report their consolidated financial statements pursuant to the
International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS. During the past
business year, the nextevolution group generated total earnings for
the group in the amount of 15.05 million EUR (previous year: 8.2
million EUR). The EBT shows a slightly negative result of -94 TEUR
(previous year: 137 TEUR). The negative EBT result is caused by the
consolidation of the developing daughter companies and the conversion
of the accounting to IFRS. According to the German Commercial Code,
nextevolution AG achieved for 2006 a total operating performance in
the amount of 14.6 million EUR in comparison to 7.9 million EUR in
2005. The profit or loss on ordinary activities for the business year
of 2006 pursuant to the German Commercial Code was 0.8 million EUR in
comparison to 0.1 million EUR for the previous year.
"We are very satisfied with the course of the business year 2006. We
were effective in the further development of the position of
nextevolution AG in our original business fields and successful
implemented the intended company expansion. In addition to three more
German branches, we were able to establish ourselves in Vienna,
Austria. In particular, the new business fields Management Consulting
and the business focus to the sector Real Estate Management were very
successful. In both segments, we generated 1 million EUR turnover
each during our initial year", explained Nils Manegold, CFO of
nextevolution AG.
"We were also successful in selling our core service, Enterprise
Content Management, to customers. Thus, we were able to increase our
sales figure in comparison to 2005 by 90 percent. This primarily
highlights the excellent cooperation we have with our cooperation
partner FileNet (once again partner number 1 in Germany) and SAP as
well as the know-how of our consultants. The cooperation with Techem
AG supports the startup of our business activities in the sector Real
Estate Management as expected," said Peter Ohl, chairman of the board
of nextevolution AG.
"The positive development of the turnover and earning figures for the
nextevolution group will be continued in the business year of 2007.
During the first quarter, we were able to acquire new large customers
and successfully prevailed against competitors within the frame of a
Europe wide tender", added Manegold.
