Scanship Holding ASA :Scanship bags new aquaculture contract for world's largest fish hatchery

Scanship has entered a contract with Kruger Kaldnes to supply its technology for Lerøy's new smolt hatchery Sjøtroll in Norway. The hatchery, said to become the world largest when completed in 2018, will be equipped with Scanship technology for complete sludge handling with filtration, dewatering and drying.

This is our third and largest contract in the aquaculture market, in which we see forward growth opportunities by applying our core technology for environmental sustainability. The solution to be delivered provides the production facility also with potential for bio residual recovery", says Scanship's CEO Henrik Badin in a statement. 
 
The system will be delivered 1Q 2017.
