Stuttgart, 1. February 2008. Celesio, Europe's leading trading and
service provider for pharmaceuticals, is actively looking into
further options for cooperation in the Russian pharmaceutical market.
Besides the talks with Protek, Celesio will hold discussions with
other potential partners. According to a spokesman for Celesio, this
is now possible following the expiry of the exclusive negotiations
agreed upon with the Protek Group.
Celesio considers the Russian pharmaceutical market to be one of the
most attractive growth markets outside of the European Union. The
Russian market belongs to the strongest growing health markets
worldwide.
