frequency (UHF) radio frequency identification (RFID) technology,
today announced the appointment of four seasoned industry veterans to
the company's senior executive team. The new hires joining Tony
Kington, Managing Director of Europe, include: Kevin McCabe as Chief
Technology Officer; Andre Cote, Vice President of Global Business
Development; Xiao-Wei Zhu, Vice President of Marketing; and Ken
Edoff, Vice President of Sales. Omni-ID's executive team is charged
with delivering the most accurate and reliable RFID technology
solutions to new and previously underserved vertical markets,
including information technology, telecommunications, industrial and
retail industries.

As Chief Technology Officer, Kevin McCabe brings more than 20 years
of experience as an accomplished technologist and manager, having
delivered over 75 products from concept to customer, and earning two
national "Product of the Year" awards in the process. With deep
experience in both Fortune 50 corporations and start-ups, McCabe is
responsible for building a successful product development process to
ensure the continued growth of Omni-ID.
Andre Cote, Vice President of Global Business Development, has more
than 10 years of experience in the field of radio frequency (RF)
technology. Prior to joining Omni-ID, Cote served as Senior Director
of Worldwide Business Development for Checkpoint Systems, a leading
manufacturer and marketer of RFID technology solutions. His knowledge
of global markets and strategic partner development, along with his
experience in manufacturing, engineering, and research and
development, enable him to effectively forge new relationships and
lead a successful business development program at Omni-ID.
Vice President of Marketing, Xiao-Wei Zhu has more than 15 years of
proven success in marketing, mergers and acquisitions, sales,
strategic alliance, and P&L management. Before joining Omni-ID, Zhu
was Vice President of Solutions Marketing for Novell, Inc. With prior
senior roles in marketing and business development at Polaroid and
EMC, as well as P&L responsibility at Genuity, Inc., she brings a
wealth of enterprise marketing experience, including product
marketing, industry and partner marketing, market intelligence, brand
and communication. In her new role, Zhu is responsible for Omni-ID's
strategic direction and tactical execution of its global marketing
efforts.
Ken Edoff, Vice President of Sales, brings more than 25 years of
extensive domestic and international corporate sales management
experience to the senior executive team at Omni-ID. In addition to a
proven track record leading sales teams for numerous publicly traded
companies, Edoff's expertise includes building worldwide sales
organizations and developing business relationships with major OEMs,
distributors, and in-direct channel partners. Most recently, Edoff
served as Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales for Zantaz where
he developed and implemented global channel strategies and programs
and expanded its partner community to more than 65 worldwide. As Vice
President of Sales for Omni-ID, Edoff takes on the responsibility of
developing and implementing worldwide sales initiatives, further
establishing Omni-ID as the leader in passive, UHF RFID tags.
Tony Kington joined QinetiQ, Ltd. in 2004 to direct the initial
development of the company's RFID efforts, which led to the formation
of Omni-ID. He brings more than 16 years of senior operational
experience in a wide variety of product based sales and business
development, including nuclear, print, chemical and technology, to
Omni-ID. As Managing Director of Europe, Kington is responsible for
Omni-ID's operation in Europe, as well as global product management,
customer service and order fulfillment.
