NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN HOLDINGS UNDER CHAPTER 2, SECTION 9 OF THE
FINNISH SECURITIES MARKET ACT
YIT Corporation has on May 19, 2008 gained knowledge of notification
under the Finnish Securities Market Act stating that following a
share transaction on May 7, 2008 holdings of the entities belonging
to Julius Baer Holding Ltd's group of companies was increased to over
5% of YIT Corporation's shares and votes. The companies hold total of
6,437,587 YIT shares which equals to 5.06 per cent of YIT
Corporation's shares.
