Christian Diekmann to take over as CFO in May 2009 - predecessor
Torsten Daenert to move to Commerzbank
Quickborn, 13 November 2008. With effect from 1 May 2009, Christian
Diekmann (42) will take over as CFO at comdirect bank. He succeeds
Torsten Daenert (42), who is moving to Commerzbank as the Head of
Strategy & Products in the bank's Credit division. "Torsten Daenert
has helped to develop and progress the comvalue growth programme for
which we are extremely grateful. We are now looking forward to his
valuable contribution to Retail Banking at Commerzbank," said the
competent member of the Board of Managing Directors Achim Kassow, who
is also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at comdirect bank.
After positions with management consultants McKinsey and private bank
Sal. Oppenheim, Christian Diekmann was most recently Investment
Director at private equity firm Argantis. He will join the bank as an
executive manager on 1 December and move to the Board of Managing
Directors in May next year. The Board of Managing Directors of
comdirect bank also includes Carsten Strauß (41) and CEO Michael
Mandel (41).
