Europe's leading digital agency LBi wins Electrolux
PRESS RELEASE
Stockholm/Amsterdam, 26 february 2009
Electrolux have appointed LBi as their CRM partner. This relationship
will cover all 3 Electrolux brands (Electrolux, AEG, Zanussi) across
20 markets in Europe and Eastern Europe. The win was awarded after a
tough 8-way pitch over 10 weeks spanning meetings in Stockholm and
Brussels.
Electrolux will be engaging with consumers throughout the entire
purchase cycle becoming much more than an engineering brand. LBi will
help Electrolux communicate with their customers across multiple
brands and territories using all of LBi's core skills - Insight and
strategy, content creation, content distribution, measuring
effectiveness and creating advocacy.
Killer creative, relevant content creation, strategy, media, CRM,
Technology and User experience backed up by leading edge analysis.
LBi's CRM department, 30 strong & led by Pipa Unsworth, was set up in
2007 to help brands have more meaningful conversations with their
consumers in a web 2.0 world of wikis, social advertising, peer to
peer blogs and multi channel advertising. People are becoming immune
to traditional messaging and only engaging with brands who are
providing a genuine and relevant service. Only digital is able to
facilitate and extend this brand promise.
CEO of LBi UK, Ewen Sturgeon is excited about the challenge: 'This is
exactly the kind of challenge we've been building this agency to
respond to, we have a global network of over 1600 experts. It asks
all the right strategic questions and gives us a brilliant
opportunity to make a material impact on the Electrolux business over
the coming years.'
Neil Gannon, Director of Marketing Expertise Electrolux, says 'LBi
demonstrated a real understanding of the Electrolux challenge and
were able to show a mix of big, blended thinking together with a
pragmatic approach to the speed at which Electrolux would be able to
evolve their approach to marketing over the coming years. Their
ability to mix marketing and technology thinking, combined with their
size means we can generate game changing ideas and get the consumer
engaged with these ideas very quickly'
