2016 first-quarter revenues
Bezons, April 21st, 2016 - 5:45 pm - RIBER, the global specialist for molecular beam epitaxy (MBE), is reporting €1.4 million in revenues for the first quarter of 2016. The order book at end-March is up 176% from the first quarter of 2015.

While no revenues were recorded for MBE systems in the first quarter of 2016, this reflects a delivery schedule for system orders that is focused on the second part of the year and is not indicative of the Company's performance over the full year.
Sales of services, accessories and cells (€1.4 million) show 17% growth compared with the first quarter of 2015, driven by sustained demand in the US and the good commercial performance achieved following the acquisition of MBE Control Solutions at the end of March 2015.
At March 31st, 2016, the breakdown of RIBER's revenues was as follows: Asia (30%), Europe (33%) and the United States (37%).

Following the high level of orders recorded in the second half of 2015, RIBER confirmed its dynamic commercial development in the first quarter of 2016 with an order for a production system in Asia and a research system order in Europe, highlighting the gradual upturn in its MBE business.
At March 31st, 2016, the order book represented €12.4 million, versus €4.5 million at March 31st, 2015. It comprises two production machines for delivery in 2016 (€5 million), compared with 0 in 2015, and five research systems for delivery in 2016 (€4.5 million), compared with two in 2015, as well as various orders for services, cells and sources (€2.9 million; +45%).
