Nyrstar Special General Shareholders' Meeting to be held on 2 June 2016

Nyrstar NV (the " Company ") today invited the holders of securities issued by the Company to attend a Special General Shareholders' Meeting (" SGM ") of the Company to approve the change of control provisions of new financing agreements in accordance with the Belgian Companies Code.
The SGM will be held on Thursday 2 June 2016 at 11:30 a.m., in Brussels.
Shareholders who wish to participate and vote are advised to register to attend in person or register a vote by mail or by proxy by Friday, 27 May 2016, at the latest. Shareholders are reminded to contact their financial intermediary before that date in order to obtain the necessary certificates to register for the meeting. Please be aware that brokers or custodians are likely to have set earlier deadlines to process instructions.
