The European Energy Group today signed and closed an agreement for the sale of a wind park in Germany with a total nameplate capacity of 27.6 MW to a German buyer. The wind park is located in Gross Pankow in the state of Brandenburg and has been co-developed with the local partner Green Wind Energy GmbH.
The European Energy Group owns in total 16 % of the wind farm sold, which is currently under construction and expected to be connected to the grid in the first quarter of 2017. The wind farm consists of 8 Vestas V126 3.45 MW turbines.
The sale will contribute positively to European Energy A/S' financial position.
